About Our Talks
Our trained We Are Donors University student ambassadors deliver our talks and workshops at schools and colleges local to their areas.
Our talks aim to educate and empower individuals, to make an informed decision about organ and blood donation. They are not used to pressure anyone into signing up.
Our talks cover all the essential content in the PSHE curriculum related to organ and blood donation. These can be challenging topics to talk about but through experience we have learnt to deliver this in a sensitive way that is well received by young people.
Talk formats
Our talks can take place at anytime but often take place during assemblies or PSHE lessons.
We are flexible and happy to discuss the time and format you would like for your schools talk. The talks are 20-30 minutes long and aim to be interactive.
We are also able to give talks to scouts, guides, sports clubs or any other group of young people. Please get in touch if you would like us to give a talk at your organisation.
